Witchblade: Rihoko -IN PROCESS 2

Wow, it has been ages. I keep telling myself to post shit here but I end starting some drawings and never finishing any. =/ Videogames have ruined my inspiration... <_<

Sssoo. This drawing is, as anybody might guess, another in-process pic of my Witchblade Rihoko fanart -> [link]

As I already said in that one, my intention was to use this picture as some sort of on-going practice on new techniques, as I've been a bit rusty lately. This one shows a concept for the legs, that I didn't try on the previous one, before vectoring it and adding it to the colored version. It's possible that I don't keep the legs on the finished drawing after all, it makes the pose a bit dull or that is how it looks to me, but at the end I suppose I will settle with some composition with some pictures of different details of the whole pic.

My idea here was to attemp to design those legs, because 1) I'm not too keen at drawing them, and also I had no idea of how to design the lower part of the picture. Initially, my idea was to give the armor a somewhat "knight-ish" style, with a huge sword and a shield, but for some reason that always ended looking weird at the bottom, legs too small, too simple. For some reason, adding those tendrils and tentacles in the shape of an undercape gives some harmony to the picture, so I suppose I'll be exploring that possibility if I'm not able to make the legs bulky enough without turning her into a Megazord. <_<

I hope nect time I post about this picture is sooner than a year, but I don't promise anything~
